Q: What is the FairTax - in one sentence?

A: A bill that will abolish the insidious income tax and replace it with a simple, fair national sales tax.

There are many great sites (see the links to the right) that do a fantastic job explaining what the FairTax is and why we need it.  And of course there is the book by Neal Boortz and Rep. John Linder. I won't replicate their efforts here in a canned format. Instead I'll extol upon its many virtues during the course of discussing the various topics of the day.
